Thinking It Through Together

Answers to the questions families ask most.

Meetings and participation

When and where does the Circle meet?
The first Aging Navigation Circle meets online on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at [TIME] Eastern, for 90 minutes. Future sessions meet monthly, and members receive each date and link by email.
Do I need medical knowledge?
Not at all. The Circle is built for everyday people. There's no confusing medical talk, and every question is welcome.
Can my spouse or adult child participate?
Yes. A spouse or adult child can join you live. To get the recordings and resources on their own, they'll need their own membership.
Do I need to be a caregiver?
No. The Circle is for anyone who is growing older and wants to understand what's changing, and for anyone caring for someone they love.

Scope and getting support

Is this a doctor's appointment?
No. The Circle is education, not medical care. It doesn't include individual diagnosis, treatment, medication management or individual care plans. For personal guidance, you can book an individual session.
Can I ask about my parent or someone I care for?
Yes. You can submit questions for general educational consideration. For advice about one specific person's health, talk with their doctor, or book an individual session to talk through your options.
Can I talk with Dr. Yaw about my situation privately?
The Circle is a group setting, so please don't share private health details there. If you'd like one-on-one time to talk about your family's situation, book an individual session.
How do I submit a question?
Use the 'Ask Dr. Yaw a question' button on this page. Your question goes straight to Dr. Yaw and may be answered during an upcoming Circle. Please don't include private health details.

Access and membership

What if I miss the live session?
Every membership includes the session recording, so you can watch anytime.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. To avoid your next charge, cancel by 11:59 p.m. Eastern at least one day before your renewal date. You'll keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
